Hi all, I have just decided to join up! My name Richard and I live in cumbria. I used to own a 172 cup and replaced it with a Leon cupra R.....Had it for 5 months and went back to a clio again! This time a better one!
No:244
I have owned her for 4 months and already spent abit! cleaning her up as she had a few dents, wheels where scuffed, seat had a slight tear (very small)....and needed a good clean!
Replaced the air filter to a maxogen, changed the exhaust to the Orbisoud system and in the process of getting the front dampers serviced, Mark Fish Springs and revalved Konis on the rear.
Many thanks
Rich

Lovely!
I'm looking at buying a 182 currently, but i can't make a decision until the BiB decide what my fate will be...
Your car is lovely, what was up with your last car?
Where abouts in Cumbria? i have had some work up there of late, and saw a tasty 182 on my travels, we were near Shap, my northern geography is sketchy at the time, that cumbria right?

The 172 cup I had was very quick! was running over 200bhp had alot of engine work done. I sold that I fancied a bigger car (more comfortable) but the LCR just didn't tick all the box's, it was a great car - again it was slightly tuned up with a Revo stage 2, full exhaust system, and uprated brakes...but around cumbria it wasn't very 'fun' to drive.
The Trophy is like a go-kart, the handling is unreal! it has all the comfort I need at the min anyway!

Nice car...
If i may ask, are those seats standard? I myself have a full fat 172 and the seats are beginning to look a bit ratty round the alcantara. Some of those recaros (assuming i could get a good colour match) would be epic...

I think they were on option on the 182, but there aren't many with them.
The Heritage section on the Renaultsport site says:
5222 registered 182s - only 89 had the Recaros
539 registered 182 Cups - only 37 had Recaros
And then the 500 on the Trophy.
