That looks awesome, especially with the black wheels. I don't know why but I've always liked the S1 more than the S2.

Good job.

really like the Elise in that colour,

Is it a standard colour as I'm sure I've seen one before.

Looks great mate. Why did you decide to do it in the start? Was there something wrong with it?

Silly question time, L.A.D Motorsport, are they the same folks that did the 180 205GTi conversions?

hey thanks for all the nice comments! the car wasn`t too bad but i thought it a bit dull in its standard colour as in my opinion an S1 looks better in a bright colour and im a bit of a perfectionist and the paintwork wasn`t up to my standard so a full respray was on the cards! i nearly went and did it chrome orange as everyone tried to convince me that green was a no no!!! but im so glad i stuck to my original plan!!! i also nearly did it kawasaki green but again i think the original lotus colour of scandal green is great and stuck to my guns! Scandal green is such an unusual colour and looks really bright and "in yer face" when the sun shines on it!!! word of warning though , the paint alone cost over £700! and it took nearly 6 months to do as it was a friend of a friend who did the job properly with a full body off respray! fantastic job and fantastic finish by the guys @ Gavs repairs in batley! they do porsches and allsorts really highly recommended!!!

thanks, couple of small differences, both look amazing,IMO,i have to confess to most of the work being done before i bought it,inc the headlight bezels. they dont help vision at night, lol, thats what the spots are for, lol.i think you used to be able to get them at eliseparts.com IMO they look really good on such a bright colour.
