My First & Current Car

Hiya,

This is my Ford Fiesta, it's only a little 1.25 16v, but it is my first car











I have not done anything to it, apart from replace the standard head & sidelight bulbs to brighter, and If I'm honest much better looking ones. It's no rocket, but it is fine for the time being.

Good first car and that Yammaha engine is much better than people would credit a 1.25 for.

As someone else said, way better than most first cars, Nova's etc.

The only problem with my car is that the spoiler has failed and it is very loose at one point and the paintwork is coming off and is beggining to rust. Also before I sell it I plan to get the cars plastic strips colourcoded Panther Black like the body

What kind of cash are these fetching?

Why?

I ran a MK6 Fiesta 1.25 (albeit it Billy basic with wind down windows & steelies) for 2 years from 23k to 70-odd thousand miles & loved it! Went all over the place in it (including flat out from Bury to Nuremberg & back) & it never missed a beat. The only money I put on it during that time was on tyres & servicing.

Compared to my Civic which at 2.5 years old is on it's 3rd set of front pads & christ knows how many sets of tyres, as well as having a passenger door that doesn't open, rattles all over the place & some fault with the turbo (I presume) that I'm yet to get looked at then I'd have the Fiesta back like a shot.

Iv'e a 1.4 zetec

I was wanting more power after a few months and now about 1 and a half years on i still have it and will upgrade to an ST

But they are great to drive

I just find it so underpowered, but I think once I have a nice sound system and a front bumper that is actually made for this model as opposed to the current basic one on (no floglights) thinks might start looking up, might enjoy owning the car a little bit more.

Very nice first car..my first car many many years ago was a beige Mini Clubman that was more filler than car-now that was underpowered!!
