A Supra and a Corrado
Discussion
Hey guys, these are what i'm currently driving:
MKIV Supra
This is my toy, and while the weather's nice, my daily driver. She's a 1997 Supra 6 speed manual, fitted with a Garrett GT35R single turbo conversion. It's currently running just over 480hp at the fly, at a very modest 1.1 bar of boost. (Still plenty more to come if required with a remap)
The car goes like stink, and handles very well thanks to a combination of Toyo R888 tyres, Brembo F50 brakes, Aragosta suspension and the full TRD catalogue of engine and transmission mounts (Inc diff)
One of my favourite things about the car is it's suprising economy. On a steady run, she'll easily give 30mpg! Not bad for the performance on tap!
I've had some leather trimmed Recaro speed recliners fitted, which look great, and are very comfortable and supportive.
Anyway, here are some pictures.
Corrado
My other car is a VW Corrado VR6. It's a manual, and in pretty good condition. It's standard except for an exhaust, but I shall be making it completely standard soon.

Either way, it looks really nice. Top work! Add to that a Corrado VR6 and you have a lovely little collection there! What are the Toyo's like in the wet? I'm contemplating getting a set for my car but I'm holding back due to our on off summer weather.
P.S. My car has less than half the power of your Supra but it would still be interesting to hear your opinion.

I think what he means is that it's not covered in cheap Ebay tat. All the body panels are genuine Top Secret ones, and the wheels are very light Advan RSs. The car came fitted with the kit when I bought it.
Exactly.. My comment was referring to something along the lines of this.I can't recommend Supras enough. Mechanically, they must be THE toughest cars around. The whole transmission has been tested to over 800hp reliably. (with a clutch change of course!)Even the engines will take 600-700 odd hp reliably (and apparently some drag cars in America have managed over 1000hp on the stock block!)There's so many tuning parts available too. I only wish there was a little more feedback from the steering, then it would be perfect!
