Is it an ex police car? Those two lights behind the front grill look like police blues.

no its not a ex plod car and the lights behind the grill are just spots to improve the main beam as its not all that great as standard

One small thing though, I'd change the counter-sunk screws on the boost gauge for dome-headed items.

Nice motor, my dad has a 850 T5 to move his dog's around in, and loves it. Driven it a few times and it is quite rapid.

I too have one same colour i bought it last month for only £500 great big car mine is a auto glt cant fault it. yours looks tidy

I had one of these ten years ago!

Bought it with 20k on it and sold it with 89k.

so as promised a pic of what iv been playing with on amber it still needs a bit of work and iv got new pipe to replace the black one pictured but got to get some silicone joints really however these will do for now.
iv also relocated the airfilter so its now towards the front and iv got pipe ready so i can bring a feed straight into it.

im hoping this will give amber a bit better throttle response as it now has a straighter passage for the air to flow

Looks good, have to say the tints on yours makes it look really mean. I think i will be selling mine on i have no use for it and not really the room for 3 cars + the girlfriends, had my fun out it till for a couple of months and can say i have owned this icon.

had a chance to give it a proper try today and tbh hasnt made that much of a difference although does seem to have sorted my boost spike problem :grin:
Did come across a problem though at fist it was blowing off the boost pipes all over so iv had to double up on the hose clamps in order to stop them comming apart :shock:

really bring this thread back for the dead i know but some of you may have been aware that of late my volvo has been off the road which start with the fuel pump going then followed directly by the injection relay but im now pleased to announce that its back and better than ever,and my faith in volvo has been restored after also resetting the ecu all previous boost problems have all gone and she finally feels like the t5 she should be

Thanks took a little while to find the fault as it was visable but got there in the end

Glad to hear its all up and running well again, I sold mine on ebay and made a £112 profit on it and only had it for 3 months was easy to sell what alot of car for your cash with these cars hope you get loads of happy miles out it.

im sure i will owned this one for nearly a year now and apart from a cv boot this is the only problem iv had cant fault it
