Don't know how your wife will like it but you can now be classed as a human being having sold the RR!

Are you trying to go for a more incognito approach to drug dealing? wink

I'm not at all sure why you've made the decision to swap your Range Rover for a Golf GTi, then come on here asking us whether you've made the right choice scratchchin

The new GTi is lovely, though (and for the record, I'd prefer it to an RR).

What's the spec?

Nice car. Not a great car, but very nice all the same.

Always a personal choice, and appreciate that there is a jump in cost, but I'd be really chuffed with a new GTi, right up until the second that an RS Focus pulled along side.

Yes, to be chuffed that he has not bought a car that you have to wear a hat/cap to drive and you have not drove through Halfords backwards and on its roof.

I think I prefer the Mk5 GTi to the Mk6, but I'm sure its gonna be great to drive.

Do us all a favour and make sure those bloody daytime running lights aren't on though!

Everytime I see an ST, in either Orange or White especially, all I can think of is 'ROOOOOOOONNEEEY'. Most of the people I see appearing in the new STs also look about his age, both physically and mentally.
You made the right choice with the Golf.

I have to admit that as much of a VW fan I am, I'm not so keen on these. Main reason is price compared to the Scirocco/ MK5 GTI and the slightly aftermarket look to it (exhaust and foglights, yuck), but each to there own I guess.

Enjoy your new car wink
