Well I have a new car alongside my 81 KE70!!

This is my New (old) 1985 Z31 turbo manual that I found on the PH Classifieds and picked up last week!

I fancied something fast, old, Jap, RWD and different and this ticks the boxes!!! I missed the performance close to my S14 but I didnt want to break the bank or have the same car again!

Its got 56000 on the clock, loads of history and MOT, clean and tidy for its age and perfect for the summer! cool

I spent 4 hours driving it back home and it didnt miss a beat! Not bad on fuel either really!

Im probably gonna get it to stage 1, with a few small styling mods and then just enjoy it over the summer with the roof off.............. Avators at the ready LOL

Anyway heres the pics of when I first got it...............................

And heres some more pics from the last week...................

The car on the rollers in Plymouth:

Old meets even older...... my mates dads Morris.....

Some better shots I took one evening:

My Pre-facelift with a local guys facelift...... probably the only 2 in Plymouth.........

Engine shot with my new K&N Filter:

A few from my mates field...

Magnum PI Stylee LOL

Well I randomly had my car on the rolling road for a power run as I know some peeps there!!

The car standard and new 23 years ago should have a book figure of 228bhp and 242 lb·ft

My Car, 23 years old and still standard with 56000 on the clock (before I fitted the filter)............

HP/Torque Graph

HP/Boost Graph

Thats 221.3 HP and 250 lb-ft at less than 0.5bar boost

Happy with that biggrin

Very cool car. I remeber a well played with one of these from yrs ago! Amazing power for the age and the boost graph seems perfect!! Wind it up to .8 and it might be close to 300!

Yea its cool up there and my mate has his own workshop so we can play with cars now biggrin

Hes got a few helicopters that he uses for aerial filming and has just won a contract for some Top Gear work too!!

His cars have always been a brand new Audi of some kind!!

Ive been having a play today and going through some of my spare "drifty" wheels I had on my S14 and seeing what they would look like on the Zed!

Heres my pride and Joy Volk GT-N Split rims..........

And my spare set of Rays Versus rims............

Ive also got a set of TSW Imolas but they dont compare to the other 2 sets lol

Im gonna keep the 3 sets including the standard 16s and im hoping to get them referbed at somepoint! I can have a different look whenever I want then LOL

What do u think??

Get a cheap Ball and spring boost controller, a couple more psi wont hurt, super unleaded will counter any chance of det from the additional heat. Go onnnn! wink

Is it intercooled? What turbo does it run? If its a garrett, you could get a cheap 2nd hand T28 off a 200sx! wink
