That will do for these long trip to visit the family spread across the continent...

The complete opposite to a sport car but that's not the point.

Still 'thinking' about it but unlikely for quite a while unfortunately. For the level of 7 I'd like, I'm looking at >13-14k and other unforseen expenses have been put forward... still, nevermind, I could be speedless altogether:

Wow, a real passat CC. So they do exist outside of VW's adverts then.

So that's what it is! I do like the look of this, it's a very handsome machine.

I have conflicting thoughts about these: one the one hand, I don't like that VW have raided the same 'swoopy coupe-style saloon' profile of the CLS, but on the other...I just like it.

Only just. Only seen 2 others on the road since February when I ordered this one.

To be fair it's very Passat-ish / VW. Plastics quality is good, it feels solid (I had a Golf Mk5 for 4 years before that and even the dog didn't manage to scratch the plastics) and there a few more goodies to give it a "premium" feel (note the ""). It's not an S class or Jag XF but it will do nicely.

Leather alcantara seats are good and supportive though. will post pictures tonight.

I know what you mean. I was kind in the same position but company car budget didn't stretch to CLS... this is an "Executive" special biggrin

First time I got them on a car. There's even a display on the radio unit. Just wanted to check how accurate it was. wife wasn't impressed I got so close to her car but I now know that I still have a good 6/7 inches to go after the long bip thumbup
