My Ibis White speedART Porsche Cayenne
Discussion
As i posted in the porsche section and most people that dont own a porsche prob never read it thought id post my car in here.
Comments welcome Good or BAD.
Since the pics the car now sits Lower and has gave it in my view alot better look.
Not to everyones taste but it does bloody stand out.
Still alot to do but here is how far i am so far:
The car has been painted inside and out in ibis white.
speedART Titan Wide arch kit
Genuine Cayenne Turbo S Front end.
Genuine Cayenne Turbo s Lower Rear Bumper
Titan BTR 400 Engine Conversion:
speedART cross pipes, sport headers and air filters.
speedART ECU
speedART lowering module which allows incar adjustment of stifness and ride height (i love it)
Custom Chrome Twin Rear Boxes with speedART tailipes.
22" Techart Wheels but i do plan to put on 23" Pukka Rinspeed Porsche ones when i can lay my hands on them.
I have big plans for the inside of the car and still waiting on my speedART lower front spoiler to come
Loads more to do but an idea how im getting on.

Thanks for comments.
The car used to be Grey.
I have a speedART front spoiler on order. speedART are well known in Porsche tuning and the bits they have are of the best you can buy so fitment and quality is spot on.
The comment about sports car being white, Have you ever been in a Cayenne with the Suspension upgrade?, the handling its VERY good for being about the weight of a tank and can hold its own on the back roads and they aint that slow either.ive owned various sports cars over the years and this wouldnt be far behind my E46 M3.
The wheels although being 22" are Genuine Techart rims so very very light and dont kill the handling.
Since the pics i had adjusted the Suspension and it sits alot lower all round and i have the shocks set alot stiffer, the suspension is air and is fully incar adustable for height and stiffness.
I have also widened the track by 50mm per wheel so it sits alot wider.

It's more the look for me. I realise Cayenne's go like the clappers and i'm sure Porsche aren't going to release any car that handles badly but it's just such a huge blob of a car to have in white. Whereas something squat, sleek and racy, such as this, looks the business to me.Know what I mean?
Yea, i hear ya and i LOVE that, for me haiving a few kids and a big Ass dog the 911 or similar would be a tad too small, with the Cayenne i have plenty room, quick enough and ideal for towing if needed, so suits my needs.
If my wife runs off with the Postman id be trading her for a 911 quick as a flash lol

Do you want honest opinions? It's an absolutely horrendous monstrosity.
You've taken a '4x4' and lowered it. No more room inside that a decent saloon? What is the point of it?
It's just a horrendous way to shout to everyone "look at me, I can take an ugly and horrendously priced 4x4, spend more money on it and make it more horrendous... but I could have financed it, you will never know though"
Word of the day is horrendous as its the first thing that comes to mind.
Sorry to be brutally honest but it makes me feel sick to look at.

I can't be so brutally honest re: others cars... i'm not built that way.
But..i'm struggling to understand the reason for this car? Surely you could buy a proper sports car/911 et al, and have an old 4x4 for the dog?
Unless of course modding the Cayenne in this way was something you specifically wanted to do..regardless?
I'm all for the 'each to their own' maxim.

I chose the cayenne as i have children and i REALLY enjoy the drive of the car, it suits all my needs, id love a 911 etc but just not suited to what i use my cars for.But..i'm struggling to understand the reason for this car? Bad comments dont bother me as lets face it everyone has diff tastes.
Things like the suspension being lowered etc were done to IMPROVE the already good handling, The Cayenne for me is a good all round car, ive already had the likes of the BMW X5 in the past and didnt enjoy them, I like my cayenne so thought what the hell and get it how I want it.
I like the car and its ideal for me, if funds allow id love a nice white 911 to Park next to it
thanks for all the comments Good or bad. if we were all the same the world would be a boring place :P
