Lotus Exige S - Club Racer
Discussion
Picked up the new car on Saturday, a Lotus Exige S.
It's got most of the options available such as the Touring Pack and it has the Lotus Sports exhaust which is very loud, probably too loud
Here's some pics:
I'm well chuffed, first thing to do to it is replace the tyres with something a little more suited to the weather in this country. And then some driver training such as a Car limits day is next.
Neil.

Nice car - stick with the 48s though. They cope surprisingly well in wet weather. It's got most of the options available such as the Touring Pack and it has the Lotus Sports exhaust which is very loud, probably too loud

I have heard (although I don't proclaim to be any sort of an expert) that the tires it comes with (48s) are very good even in poor weather. I would stick with them for the time being and you may be pleasantly surprised.
Lovely car, though. Really jealous.
48's and other similar tyres work very well in wet conditions where they are able to push through the water. They don't work well at all where standing water is involved as they simply can't clear enough water to get purchase with the road.Lovely car, though. Really jealous.
To the OP. Love the car. Saw the same colour spec in F1 Lotus in Newcastle a few month's back. Best Exige colour combo I've seen. Enjoy it.
