Only a shot with a dirty carpet wink

Car is Carbon Black with Black leather, and features SATNAV and Harmon Kardon.

I looked around for a long time before settling on this car. There is a lot of rubbish out there to avoid, and a lot of second rate cars covered in all manner of dealer shiny spray and superficial glitz. I'm more than happy with my car, and have wanted one of these for a long time. cloud9

Its nice to see that there is not wood in side, i must confess to hating wood details in BMW's.

So have you got any plans for her?

Planning to stay largely factory for now. Will be renewing the discs and pads at the ends of the month, and having the wheels reconditioned and fitted with new rear tyres during the next month .... It'd be rude not to polish of the remaining tread, and cover the "soon to be reconditioned" alloys with hot brake dust on the track beforehand though smile

I've no plans to modify the car too much, as the factory package suits me pretty well .... I'd not rule out a slightly more vocal rear silencer in the future if the factory item wore out, and maybe a carbon airbox to match. It's my daily driver ultimately, and must remain suitable for that task.

A fruity back box and carbon induction is a essential purchase in my opinion... it would sound incredible!

Want to "Black and White" a couple of the above pictures. I haven't got photoshop though. Is there an easy way to do this?

Very Nice. I much prefer those wheels - looks less 'bling'.
Looks good in that colour too, I'd love a Laguna Seca blue one

I was on the lookout for a Laguna Seca Blue car, as I really like the exterior colour, however nearly all that I found had it on the inside too and that was too much for me.

Since buying the car, I've had nothing but compliments about the choice of wheels thumbup I actually was pretty indifferent about 18s or 19s, but am glad that I got these ones, and can't wait to see them all shiny and reconditioned in a month or so smile

Yeah, that'll do. I've found some free download software anyway, so will have a play myself. Many thanks for the offer though thumbup

A bit of a waste, the M3 sounds great std. Keep the 18"s matey, they are the driver's choice unless you can find a set of CSL alloys. Quick enough too...

I'll have to politely disagree, I've been a passenger in a friends e36 m3 with one of these fitted, i'd say it's a worth while mod.

I totally agree with the m3 sounding great in standard trim, i'd give my left nut for a standard E46 M3, and if i had to keep it standard (for arguments sake) i'd be a very happy man indeed.

However given the choice and more importantly the money, i would most certainly have one fitted.

They are amazing cars in standard trim, but as the CSL proves, they can be improved. Horses for courses really!

Totally agree regarding the wheels, the 18" wheels are known for their ride quality, but a set off CSL wheels (genuine of course) are a tasty alternative.

At the end of the day you have a fantastic car (standard or modified) and you will enjoy it regardless.
