jakal,
in the nicest possible way, i hate you.
superb.
ps. like yellow much?
well i did want the clubsport in riviera or maritime blue or white but in clubsport land you have to take what you get given ! They only made 178 RHD remember and probably not many of them left after 15 years or so. As for the 993, I did originally have my heart totally set on artic silver and wide body but then that all changed when i saw this car in the flesh.in the nicest possible way, i hate you.

lol
they both have a mechanical, solid, extremely well engineered, slightly agricultural feel which is one of the most infectious things about them
but after that, so far they seem totally different, even the general driving position and space inside the cockpits gives a completely different feel and impression. I wouldn't like to say too much at this stage but the 968cs is a car you can rag with such carefree abandon... it is so beautifully balanced and progressive and predictable that you can really drive it like a totally looney. The 968 strangely is also heavier on the control weights side of things so initally feels like the meatier car. My 993 is having some KW fitted soon so I will reserve judgement till then when I know that the suspension is brand new and as good as it can be. My guess though, is that once im used to both cars, it will be the 993 that is more interesting with more depth of character. The 993 also ultimately has a more satisfying and desireable drivetrain. The 968cs is kind of simple in nature... almost lotus like in its balance/body control and stability. But that's not to detract from it in any way.. I absolutely adore the way the 968 drives, the handling and general feel is so so seductive and satisfying. Its a classic front engined, normally aspirated, sideways machine with no driver aids or gizmos and it doesnt get any purer than that.

I wondered if they would feel similar at all but it sounds like they compliment each other nicely. Good choice, i just LOVE the 993 shape, the finest of the 911's for me.
the sound of the 6 must be a welcome change too i guess

So this is a widebody clubsport? Were all CS's widebody?
Forgive my ignorance but the widebody sans spoilers etc just looks amazing and I can't believe I've not seen it in this light before. Are widebody 993's rare?
Isn't it a (narrow body) 993 C2? Anyway, as I said on the Porsche forum, that's a stunning car and I'm very jealous .Forgive my ignorance but the widebody sans spoilers etc just looks amazing and I can't believe I've not seen it in this light before. Are widebody 993's rare?
