Having been a very occasional poster on here I finally got off my a*se and took a couple of photos of my 300ZX Twin Turbo and a friend's 2.5 Twin Turbo Supra. Have been a fan of the Zeds since I was a child, finally had mine imported last year and don't regret it one bit! So, has anyone else got a bit of a thing for Jap turbo gt/sportscars in the days before traction control, stability control etc went and made everything a lot more sanitised? I personally quite like the idea of my right foot being the only thing preventing an unfortunate hedge seeking detour, although making it through the last winter has been a bit of an eye opener! So, what does everyone think? Am expecting a bit of a flaming over the exhausts but in my defence along with the decat/air filter they do make a difference!

Your 300 looks great, exhausts are fine, not keen on the wheels but each to their own.
I had a 89 Turbo Supra for a while, and a 280ZX Turbo for about a week, most of my jap turbo's were early 90's, S13 200SX, S14 200SX, Charade GTti, Starion Turbo, I've had most of them at some point, happy days,

I only crashed one of them, the S13, I was talking to a mate going round a greasy roundabout and it just got away from me, totally unexpected and I couldn't correct it in time, caught me out completely, I'd been drifting in it the week before!

They all taught me a lot about car control, I was out with someone in the snow recently and they just froze up when the car started to slide.

I just drive bargain barges these days and the modified scene has thankfully passed me by smile

Edited to add more.

Bargain barges are great, my previous car before the Zed was an 850 T5 Volvo smile Wheels are as it was imported, probably get round to changing them but not a priority at the moment! Am not planning on doing anything more to the looks of it, prefer a reasonably standard appearance but will do stuff like bushes, anti roll bars etc to sharpen the handling up a bit. Already done the tension rod bushes and they made a huge difference!
