Was tempted to get a Boster 3.2S, but you just see so many about. Great car though.

Not a fan of MX5's looks wise.

rofl Ha ha ha, you're so funny and original - I wish I was like you rolleyes

Nice cars OP - both reasonably similar though (i.e. sporty convertibles), any reason for this? Is one your OH's or are they actually like chalk and cheese?

My wife wanted the Boxster and the MX5 was hers and didnt want to sell it so I had to give up my nice BMW derv. I dont really have a car other than the M3, I just drive whatever is the first in line when I go to work....usually MX cos it doesnt cost a fortune to fuel it. They are like chalk and cheese though and to be honest, other than when giving it the beans, the MX is a nicer drive.

Alright Gary? Nice pic....not the best one though as that was before it got a polish!!

Nice, suprised at the duplication box / mx wise, but both nice cars.

Oh, and the "hairdresser" commenting man - untill you have a 911, you have no right to criticise boxsters. Once you have a 911, you should know better than to do the same said. Either way, you're making yourself sound like an arse, so stop it.

you cannot criticise boxters until you have a 911? do i need to buy a skoda too to not like them. what if i dont like 911`s either so i can never say i hate the looks of a boxter? does that work for every car on the road or just porsches?

Rsst, there is a differnece between pointless negativity and objective opinion. IMO the earlier poster was just trying to be neagative for no reason. This car is the OP's pride and joy, and his wife's weekend car - and his comments were uncalled for. Both cars look like well cared for, clean examples, and again IMO pointless criticism isn't deserved.

There was no pointless negativity or objective opinion, there's such a thing called lighthearted banter...rotate
