Managed to sell my R32 just before christmas and picked up my dream car just before new year. The novelty still hasn't worn off, I still look out the window and can't believe I own it.

Miltec Exhaust
Quick Shift
B7 RS4 Brake upgrade

The B5 RS4 is one of my all time favourites. So subtle, so menacing, so easily tuned for monster powersmile

My thoughts exactly.

They really are awesome. I'd have a B5 over a B7 anyday.

Love it!

I keep coming back to RS4 and RS6 avants and debating how they'd handle an LPG conversion. I want both really badly but just couldnt swallow the 25k miles a year without the LPG frown

They are simply the ultimate tool for motoring and sports. MTB or skis in the back, 4WD, enough power to hoon across Europe with easy.

Thanks for the comments,

Always loved the shape of the B5 RS4 and the thought of turbo power. Must say it hasn't dissapointed. I feel like Audi have lost their way with the RS brand a little. They should never have dropped the limited number, avant only rule. Aside from the RS2 this is the only RS with a manual gearbox and turbo power, a combination I love. Oh and I can get the MTB in the back!

I'm sorry, but I just don't think that's a nice motor. In actual fact, It's terrible. It looks like every other audi on the road, you're such a cock for buying one.....

.......the pillock would say to you.

Now go find she sells sanctuary, stick a suit on and go for a backroad hoon, good sir!!

The RS6 in Layer Cake does look similar as it has the same 18 inch wheels as the RS4 which were an option. 99% of the RS6s on the road have the 5 spoke 19s.

God I'm sad!

The B5 RS4 is the choice of the afficionado.

What engine do these have then, and what vintage is it? I thought they were 4.2 NA V8? I know the older ones had the 2.7 V6 Bi-turbo, just thought it was the RS6's that were turbo'd recently...
