My Seat Ibiza GTI Cupra 8v
Discussion
It's a sunday and I'm bored so I thought I'd stick my car up on here and see what the PH massive thought of it.
I wanted to get back into a small, cheap to run and quickish car and had my heart set on a Saxo VTR, however all the decent ones I saw for sale had been sold, what else could fit the bill?
Spec:
Seat Ibiza GTI Cupra Sport
2000cc 8 valve
115bhp
96000 miles
Full service history
12 months MOT
Mods so far:
Sony CD player
Kenwood 6x9s
OMP Front strut brace
OMP Rear strut brace
Ronal GTI 16v wheels (16 inch)
Cone air filter
Took off the gay looking "Cupra Sport" stickers
De-wipered the rear, will take out the whole mechanism when I get a grommit to fill the hole
Mods to come:
Possibly lower it (40mm MAX)
Full stainless exhaust (current one is blowing)
Gone off the whole modifying thing now, just want to keep this one in good health, wrapped in decent rubber and just enjoy driving the thing, the yellow one was a nail I'll admit that, but this one is a peach, immaculate inside and out.
Hope you all like.
Heres a pic of the old yellow one, looked hard as nails but was far too low, I'm going down the more sensible route with this one.

- Warning, incoming sense of Deja Vu*

Id get spacers on the back to push the wheels out. So narrow at the rear my friend ended up spinning his and rolling it 3 times, and he wasnt doing anything silly either. If it makes you feel better, it rolled 6 times at 60, and it held up ok. Well it was completely fked, but the main shell didnt crumple so he didnt die

Yeah I was thinking of getting spacers for the back actually, do you think 20mm will do?captain ash said:
