Picked my new car up last saturday. You may have seen me... I was the nutcase in the Focus RS with the silly grin on his face driving round docklands, then up to the midlands biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

It's done 19900 miles and I thought it would be a bit more fun than an ST.

Anyone know how long the "Focus RS Grin" Takes to wear off? People keep asking me if i'm on drugs. laugh

Very nice!!

My mate has also just picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago. Took me out for a drive in it the day after he picked it up biggrin Didn't get to see what it would do in the twisties, as he'd only just bought it, but in a straight line, it was very impressive!

Anther classic Ford, perhaps?

That's what made me buy it, to be honest.. It feels, looks, smells brand new. I could have gone to a ford dealer and bought a 1.2 fiesta for the same money, or got this...

Hard choice, that was. biggrin

Lovely! Love the colour and the car!

All you need to do now is powdercoat the wheels white...

Very nice. Mind if I ask how much you parted with for it?

I'll probably not be doing that considering how dirty the silver ones have got in a week and my current lack of car washing facilities. Maybe some 18" White OZ superturismos in a few months?

Was following this car on the Rs site and seen you had bought it , it certainly looks a minter , and a credit to the last owner ....

Absolutely. I hope I can keep it as clean as him but it seems like he never really used it! My friend said he thought it was running a lot smoother after a week driving it. Shows these cars just want to be used and driven!!!

Certainly one of the better looking Fords, I LOVE the overall look of the MK1 RS, its certainly timeless and that one looks like its fresh off the production line.

Escort Cosworth or MK1 Focus RS, both look amazing. Surprised the ST even made it into your thoughts. Get in there quick before the newest monstrosity comes out :P

Looks lovely.

But I'd have to change that steering wheel. I couldn't stand looking at that blue and black monstrosity every time I got in the thing.

Small detail but just MHO.

No you're right, although it does look slightly better in the flesh. I'm currently looking into getting one retrimmed in alcantara or suede by the prices I'm being quoted are horrific!

+1 here as well.

Used to see one of these locally with white wheels and it looked truly horrific. hurl

Nice cars and congrats on the purchase, mate has a stock one he uses for the daily hack but for me the interior is my bug bearer
