Well after 9 great months with the Puma I felt like it was time for a change. I can walk/cycle to work now so I don't technically need a car, let alone two, but I bought another anyway. A 1990 E30 318is. It has a 100k on the clock with an epic service history and no rust anywhere. The paintwork was a bit faded but with a decent polish it has come out well so hopefully i can preserve that as well as possible. I must say I am beginning to fall in love with it, it's a real hoot to drive and while it isn't quick, the delivery from the engine is great, really revvy. There are a few routine jobs to be done (Along with the proper IS splitter) I just hope it doesn't distract me too much from finishing the 205...

IIRC Performance Car mag recommended these in an article on first performance cars. Did sound like fun to drive, would'nt mind having a go in one. Good to learn oversteer I expect! thumbup

I just bought an E30 318is from a dealer last week, was only £495! Pretty sure the guy didn't know what it was. I'm well happy with it though. I think I'll post a thread with pictures also.

Thats a nice example, I've never liked E30s in red till I saw this one.
