Top work! I remember talking to the old owner of this briefly as he left classics on the common. Bringing it to the next North London meet?

Thanks for the flowers.

Will try to get to the next N. London meet Doug.

I'll go check the London events page.

Am booked in at virginia Waters and I normally make the Ace's classic night.

TVR night is now another excuse to finish work early biggrin

Nice. Did anyone ever determine whether they were actually carbon/kevlar or whatever TVR claimed they were? Or am I thinking of another TVR?

no i think your on the right lines, IIRC the composites used on the very early SEAC models (SEAC stands for Special Equipment Aramid Composites BTW IIRC nerd ) were no good for curved surfaces and quite a few cars ended up back at the factory being rebodied to varying degrees...

ris,

Everything explained here: http://www.theseacpages.co.uk/Production.aspx

No more pic's at present.

Let me clean the old girl up first and get some nicer background shots.

BTW, I thought my DT sounded good but this Tiv just brings a Cheshire cat grin everytime you plant the right foot with plenty of onlookers bounce

Hi Al,

Gave the old girl a wash today and a blast up the A1 to S. Mimms services.

I think the suspension needs softening up more as it does not like irregularities in the tarmac! It is an ex-trackday car after all.

A few more clicks anti-clockwise me thinks.

See you soon.

Indeed.

Need to find an affordable garage able to take on a body-off chassis refurb, blast clean, powder coat, new bushes etc.
