So finally got my first car, i know not to most peoples taste but its getting changed hehe, first of all by being raised to about -25mm as the current -60 is far too low and upsets the handling. thinking of getting the alloys sprayed white aswell as the badges and not sure about the roof as of yet ?, also going to get rid of the driver window tints.

anyways ideas and opinions welcome ?

Tidy car. Nice to see your aiming at getting it looking standard thumbup.

How much are you paying on insurance may I ask?

aha yeahh the z car saxo, should be a laugth but tbh if i could insure aswell as the cost of the coversion my money wouldnt go on a saxo thumbup , as for insurance it was only a few hundred more than the equivalent 1.1s etc.

The roof looks a tad out of place on a near-standard car - would suit a euro-styled car if that's the way you were going with it...

A very good car there I have a Maritious Blue VTR, make sure you upgrade the brakes though - They aren't the best.

good on you for some sensible mods to bring it back to what it should be. Have fun with it!

How old are you? How much is it to insure (roughly)? who are you with? I tried to insure one of these as a first car and it was about 3,000 a year!!!

Thanks
Matt

Get some white 1.9 205 Speedlines on there and start removing interior bits to make it lighter.

It's a great wee chassis you've got yourself there, make the most of it.

yeahh think i got a bargain with insurance tbh and 205 alloys would look great aswell as rallye stellies, just finding them.

How the hell can a car with "400bhp" only do 140mph?

My MX5 did that with 1/3 the power.

Nice looking motor, loads of fun. Dont do rallye steels on it, but vts wheels in white or anthricite (sp) always look good on them
