if your gonna strip it make sure you take all of the components out and sell them as a kit it will be the best way to get the most money.
if you want to sell it quickly you need to speak to pug performance(01420 587 377) they arent the best people to deal with and i wouldnt take my car there but he does buy stuff
how much do you want for it?
you will need to get the engine, engine wiring loom, ecu, the key itself(not the blade)and immoboliser unit otherwise it is all useless.
the immobilisor unit is a black box which sits above the ashtray in the centre console,
gearbox you should get about £400 for make sure you keep the gear knob with it makes people happier they are spending the money on it
engine complete probably £800 but it will depend on where you sell it and wether you have someone who needs it
why are you breaking the car is it badly smashed.
i might be interested in buying the whole lot do you want to email me some pics?

Cudly, sorry mate totally unrelated but noticed you're a pug mechanic. Any chance you could tell my how much it would cost to fit and buy a MAP sensor as the idling on my 106 GTI isn't all it should be.

what makes you so sure its the map sensor?
would cost around £70 for the map sensor it takes about 5 mins to fit
if you have any savy you will be able to do it yourself.
but more likely to be idle regulator valve the map sensor realy determines the co,and chances are it would not affect the idle so much as it wouldnt run properly at all.
would need to know year and engine to give any better judgement.
