Mondeo V6's are kind of cool, understated performance, which I like.
I was going to say. Geeze.

I havent seen many others about, everytime I spot another ST around it only has 1 tail pipe and a nice TDCi badge on.

Quite a few ST220 owners on these pages, myself included.
That doesn’t look like a Ford exhaust to me BTW…
Its not, but its not what came with the car, the original is back on there. That doesn’t look like a Ford exhaust to me BTW…
Possibly looking at a Miltek system, I want something which brings the V6 more to life, but nothing to OTT.
There 2 different animals.
Suprisingly I have much more confidence in the ST, it feels much more planted and less twitchy.
They both have 3 litres but again different characters, the Omega had most of its grunt nice and low, where as the V6 is happy to go round the rev counter.
Not tested properlly yet, but the ST's brakes seem reasonable, how do they handle constant abuse though?

They're OK. I've had braided hoses and decent fluid fitted and it made a noticeable difference to the feel.I've got a set of Focus ST calipers to go on (greater pad area and allows larger disc), but will fit them when the brakes need doing.
