BMW E36 M3 Evo Coupe in Estoril Blue
Discussion
Afternoon all, after a brief fling with a E36 328i Sport (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=47&t=581197&nmt='99%20BMW%20328i%20Sport) I finally got round to getting myself an E36 M3. I've been after one for a while now.
After looking at a few this was the best one I could find. Details are as follows;
Late 1996 BMW M3 Evo
Estoril Blue
Alacantra Interior
115,000 miles with full history, approx. 17 stamps in the book
VANOS replaced by BMW at 101,000 miles - Invoice showing this cost £2,600!
No real plans for it to be honest as I like it the way it is, i'm gonna change the plate back to an age-related one, fix the cracked fog light lense and demist the headlights. Thats it. Oh, and keep it clean!

Lovely motor you've got there fella. Lovely clean car.
If you haven't already i'd sigh up to www.bmwowner.com. its full of loads of useful information, predominately on the e36.

Every time I think I've put these cars behind me, a blinder comes up and makes me all dohey-eyed again.After looking at a few this was the best one I could find. Details are as follows;

I need one of these back in my life, I really do. I still miss my old one every day (now owed by fellow PHer wmg100)and cannot quite think what on earth possessed me to ever sell it.
Very nice car there fella.
I'm going to take a guess that the car is still on it's original suspension? It'll be tired by now so make that a priority to sort. They really can me made to handle exceptionally well, so any vagueness or boat-like handling should be banished with a nice set of coilovers.
Here was mine (please excuse the pic-whoring ):
Bought it with only 27k on the clock and sold it at 44k. Simply fabulous car

Thanks for all the comments guys.
ASBO - yours looks like a good example - like the mint interior a lot. Not so sure on the rear spoiler, is off a GT2?
Scrotum(?!) - Your convertible looks really tidy, again I like the leather interior a lot. Kind of wish I had leather in mine but at the mileage mine has done they tend to get a bit cracked.
Here's a couple of pics takin this morning in the snow.
