Here's my RX7 for your viewing pleasure.
It's the N/A version, but great fun to drive.
It's had a few things done to it, mainly having a full engine rebuild 14k ago by rotechnics. At the same time they also removed the air control valve, and made some custom exhaust headers which freed up another 30bhp. It now runs a free flowing exhaust which lets the rotary sound as its meant to, lol. It's also had the turbo2 alloys fitted, of which i have 7(!) and a turbo2 splitter fitted to the front.
There's also a set of plasma dials in the dashboard, unfortunately at night you can't see what distance you've done, but then again, why would you need to if you're having fun, lol.
I've fitted a strut brace at the front, and also fitted the 'sleepy eye' kit, for a bit of individuality.

Cheers bud. The rear end photo was taken before i had the joy of washing, t-cutting, polishing, lol.
As you can see by the photo with the lights at halfmast, it came up a treat.
There's a couple of small rust spots and a minor dent in the rear left quarter, but then again, it is 21 years old, lol

It's a bit of an urban legend bud.
Exactly the one about the engine needing rebuilding every 50k.
Basically, if properly maintained, the engines can go well over 100k on the original rotors.
The biggest problem people make is to use synthetic or even semi synthetic oil in the engines, but as the oil is also used in the combustion cycle to provide extra lubrication, mineral oil is best, something like a 10w30.
Aside from that, they use a bit more oil (see above) and also depending on your right foot, lol. You're looking at 1l for 1000 miles.
They are thirsty on the old gogo juice though, heheh
