New Member KrissJ’s 182
Discussion
Hi
As a new member I thought it only right to post up a selection of photos of my 182. I bought it almost 2 years ago now and it’s a brilliant car, especially for many of the roads I like to play on.

Thanks for all the comments. I fell in love with the looks as soon as I first saw the car and still look back when walking away now. Then, as I got close when I went to view it before buying, my breath was taken away by the condition of the car. Definitely a tribute to it's former keeper.
Just differentiating, helping everyone.
nice car and great photos
i recognise most of the roads on the pics as i love driving the same welsh roads in my megane R26 but where is this one in the pic looks a great road.
I took that photo here:
As on the map, it's an unclassified just below Bala Lake and Hirnant Pass. It's about 5mins South of Bala. That and the other roads I've highlighted above are some of my favourite unclassifieds in North Wales. The one at the top that goes West from the A494 is astonishingly good and very, very long!

I'm glad you explained which was the front and the back - could've been confusing otherwise...

Looks very nice - though looks a bit low - what's the ride like?
The ride is very good. It's on H&R coilovers so is slightly harder than the Cup suspension but doesn't appear quite as hard as the Sachs on a Trophy. It doesn't crash at all and feels exceptionally secure when cornering, even on bumpier road surfaces. It actually seems noticeably more planted than a Trophy to drive. The only donwside really is that the outside front tyre occasionally scrapes the inside of the wheel arch when cornering hard on bumpy roads. I have considered raising it a little, but it feels and looks so good as it is I can't bring myself to do it.simonparky said:

Very nice, never seen a RB clio on turinis before, really does look nice.
Cracking roads around that area aren't there, can't wait to get up there later this year in my clio.
Cheers. I was initially torn between RB and LY but LY 182s demanded a premium at the time and I like RB just as much so went for that. And the Turinis just finished it off perfectly.Cracking roads around that area aren't there, can't wait to get up there later this year in my clio.
Yeah, the roads round North Wales are amazing fun! I try to get there as much as I can seeing as it's just down the road. Mid Wales and South Wales are awesome for driving too, as is the Lakes where I'm originally from.
What model Clio do you have?

Although ten days in the alps will make up for it this year
Trophy, nice! My best mate and another mate both have them. They're fantastic cars. And driving it in the Alps. Oh my, that'll be an incredible experience! I hope you'll be able to get some photos and maybe some video footage of your trip on here when you get back. When are you going?
