The Evo is gone, back to RWD again now and loving it. I know the bodykit isn't gonna be to everyones taste, but I bought the car based on it's condition inside and out, mileage for year and the performance modifications it had already. Looks can always be changed :-) although it's really only the rear bumper I'm not completely happy with.

Can't be bothered to post up the specs, but running 320bhp, going in for 400bhp soon :-)

Thanks for looking.

looks nice, seats look nasty though, do none come with leather?
and the wheels look like they would still look lost in the arches of a mini.
quite like the front bumper and smoothed off look though.

Yeah the seats are gash, I don't even like the GTR ones. I'm just gonna get some Bride Recliners in there at some point as the rear's getting stripped soon and I'm getting some harness bars in.

And yep, rolling on 16" Enkei's. Not going to change them 'till the summer when I'll get some fancy 18's with a big dish for the road and these will be kept for the track. Whilst they are small, they are light as HELL and good tyres are cheap.

What you doing to get it to 400bhp??

Mine ran 280ish and from experience it was big money to get the GTS to much more than 300ish

You'll have plenty of fun in it though!

The car already had freshly rebuilt turbo's with ceramic blades when I got it, it also had a K&N intake with cold air feed, Apex front mount, manual boost controller, gtr fuel pump, turbo elbow, downpipe, decat, cat back exhaust, Apexi s-afc and a paddle clutch. Running 0.95 bar it pulled 350bhp on the dyno but it was right on the edge of fuelling so it was set to 0.85 bar and 320bhp.

Next stage is a new set of injectors, an rsp stage 1 ecu chip, and an electronic boost controller possibly.

Should be a right bit of kit. Def. recommend elec. boost controller. I dont think much of manual boost controllers if your searching decent power from previous experiences!

I remember mine being a dual boost. Upto about 5k it was 0.6 then 5k to 7k it was 0.7. Mine was running at 0.85 too which with the filter and exhaust made a noticable difference.

At 400bhp you'll have it smoking in 3rd lol

Looks nice, but I think the big bodykit makes the wheels look even smaller than they are!!

Yeah I don't really know why the previous owner stuck with a manual controller. I think they actually do hit boost a little quicker than an electronic one but the problem is in the cold they tend to overboost a little, which is fine at the moment but if I'm going to run the max amount of boost it will safely take, I don't wanna be hitting more when it's chilly! On my old car it was also nice to have a setting to switch to low boost for poodling around town/driving in the wet.

At the moment it'll still spin up in 3rd once it hits full boost with your foot to the floor, and in the wet it's spun up in 4th on the motorway a couple of times which I wasn't really expecting. Probably because of my tiny little wheels haha.

And yeah I agree the kit doesn't really work with the wheels, I'm not sure what to do really. On the one hand I'd rather spend my money on performance mods and I do like how light the 16's are (seems to turn in nice and sharp sticking to the OEM size too) but I would like to get it looking a little more aggressive wheel wise with a stronger offset and a bigger size, and possibly tone the rear bumper down a little and get a slightly more subtle one. I always try and think that the most enjoyment I will get out of the car is sat in the driving seat and therefore try not to be too picky about the exterior!

Good car

Don't mind 'big jap kits' when they're at least on big jap cars.

Totally dwarfs the wheels though. That needs seen to for sure
