apparently just from what my dealers looked up only about 125 black 106 gti were made in that year in black with no sunroof and no ac but with full leather alcantara interior. the car only cost me £800 and i wasnt gonna say no to it and its perfect for track as most 106s have sunroofs and i would of had to plate it or replace the roof skin.

as said it was on the cr before i got it so i knew about it but yeah it sucks good old halfords touch up stick lol doesnt look to bad (if stuck about a million miles away)
or if the car just going along.
i do love my cars smile think being born near goodwood has something to do with it lol
my other cars i have owned are
1959 mini restored and converted to Lhd for america made nice bit on that itfelt like sacrilege but i need the money and i hated to see the car go to the scrappy.
late model mini clubby estate that had been vaned by having panels pot rivited on to it. i restored this and sold this to america also Lhd it.
and a mini mayfair that i scrapped that was completely stuffed.
and the odd nova and corsa and other small hot hatches repaired de barryed and sold on .

I actually like the Citroen, a definate leftfield choice in todays copycat market. How did you find the standard brakes? I remember Evo having a petrol long-termer and they slated the brakes. Other than that they liked the car...

for std fast road usage they are spot on know fade what so ever and this is heavier than the petrol due to the diesel engine. but on track there fine as long as its not a big session lasting longer than 15 mins it can get interesting. and i obliterated the rear Michelins nearly new at rockingham last year after one half hour session lol
so i shall replace them but mainly for the fact of useing the car on track.
im looking at getting it to about 250 bhp and also possibly fitting a secondary turbo . as i have discovered something about citroens smile lol specifically there 2.2 dervs smile

i got the c4 because no one near me had one and it was different i spent 3 months searching them this one turned up at a dealer less than 20mins away. it was a step up form my shake bum renault megane 1.4 16v
was std dynamic till i finished with it.

basically just lowered it and tinted rear windows and fitted 18 inch wheels on very thin slips of tire and color coded the rub strips also had a Renault genuine sport kit fitted bar skirts. i loved it . but got rid due to clutch failing and was gonna cost £1600 to change the whole front end has to be dis asyembald to drop the subframe out and engine and box. so part exed it for the citroen which is £20 a year cheaper to tax and alot cheaper to insure smile
