Thanks for all the great comments. I am lucky, I wanted an Aston since I was young, after a lot of hard work I finally got my wish. The way the prices are dropping, we will all be owning one soon!

Lovely car. Is it a 4.3 or a 4.7? My Dad seriously looking at trading his M3 in for one, but fancies a 4.7. I'm keeping my fingers crossed - so much more character and loads more personal than the BM.

It's a 4.3. The new 4.7 gives the Vantage the extra bhp that is always should have had intially. The M3 is a cracking car and as with all Beemers very robust. Check out the Aston Martin Forum for info on ownership - it's not like your mass produced car!

Looks very nice! My favourite modern Aston after the DB7 vantage GT (friend has one and it's stunning).

Can't believe how different they are to their more expensive parents either - another friend took me for a spin the other week in a Vanquish S and whilst it looked good from the outside it felt very cheap and 'old ford' inside. The V8 Vantage somehow feels so much fresher and less busy.

Heres hoping they continue to drop in price.....
