In four years of driving i have owned the following in order
K reg 1.1 Fiesta
N reg 1.8 Fiesta Diesel
S reg 1.2 Clio
M reg BMW 318tds
K reg Pug 205 1.8d
N reg 1.8 Cavalier
P reg BMW 325tds
M reg 1.8 Cavalier
R reg Micra 1.0
Y reg Alfa 156 2.0
Of all the motors the only 2 not to break or cost anything to repair were the diesel fiesta and 205.
The BMW 325 i spent almost £500 to get it through MOT and 2 weeks later, fan smashed into the radiator. Its been stood ever since
The Alfa after 3 weeks of ownership is currently in the garage getting a fully reconditioned engine fitted costing £1,500 - more than the car cost.
After adding up all the money i have spent/wasted on the above i could have have bought a 03 BMW 330d
