Beautiful car you have there!biggrin

But- & it's a very small buthehe ..................Is it just me, or is the paint finish pretty bad on the boot (orange peel)

I have seen it on other lower specced 5 series, but did not expect to see it on a 60-70k car from BMW.

Nice car, great photos, don't like the colour of it though. Too boring. Sorry.

Nice car, but please, I beg to god don't EVER do HDR again unless you do it without making it obvious..

But very nice car (I've been round the ring in an M5 and it is VERY fast!)

I'm pretty sure orange peel happens on most BMWs of this era unfortunately frown It was definitely occuring on the BMW M3s that I've seen so probably quite likely that it is......

Local are we CarlT?? Haha!!

ol'dirty - Thanks mate. The paint is sadly occuring on more and more BMW's these days. If you go to the showroom, you won't see one in there without this look. Really not sure as to why they have done this, but according to a salesman there, it's throughout the range.

Live It - Fair enough!! Not everyone likes the Silversone II. I personally love it, and think in person it looks awesome. Not really able to show the colour off in photo's though. There is only one other colour that i would have had over this though, and that was Alpine White. The other colours are not my cup of tea. The only other maybe would be Sapphire Black. I'm not a fan of the Interlagos Blue, and the Indianapolis Red is not me at all!! And silver, is TOO boring!!

Neek - I knew there would be mixed reaction to the HDR's. It wasn't me that did them. It was a mate of mine who did them as he wanted to add some more to his portfolio. I added them just to show people, and to get some reactions. I like most of them personally. But i know HDR's aren't everyones liking! Thanks for the comment on the car though, and yes it is VERY fast. Taking her to The Ring in August with some mates, so will get some photo's and video's done then!!

Are the boot lids on these Aluminium? If they are it may be the paint not keying properly to the surface, I would have thought that BMW would have this sorted.... perhaps not!

Lovely picture of Baiter by the way, have I seen you round Sandbanks way?

Matt, i probably should know the answer to your question regarding the boot being made from Aluminium, but i don't!! I think it may well be though!!

As for seeing me round Sandbanks, yes definitely! I am down there a lot. Often at Cafe Shore, and also at my parent's place down there too looking after the place sometimes as they don't often live there as they live in the States. Lucky bds! Could have taken me, but NOOOO!!! Lol!!

Jon, thanks mate! Yeah i love the colour too. Like i aforementioned though, the pics don't do the colour justice at all! Most people just think it's silver, but it's silver blue as you know! The only photo's i've seen of Silverstone II that show it off properly, are ones with snow in the background, as the white shows the blue off beautifully!

Jon, awesome car.

To me, you are living the dream. Seriously, that is my dream car! I will one day own one and i will definately have it in Silverstone II. I think it really shows the lines of the car.

Good photography skills too.

Matt.

Awesome!! I was originally born in Solihull near Birmigham, but moved down to the Poole area in 1998. Via London and Wentworth, Surrey! Oh, and Stratford Upon Avon, and Florida!! LOL!!

Will have to meet up sometime bud seeing as though you're so local. I actually live in Baiter Park. Live in the new development they've been building the last few years.
