spaceframe design advice.

Hi guys, any advice on books or websites for designing and stressing spaceframes? Finally getting around to doing the final design work on my project after collecting the major components. After design the next stage is find a grand for the steel stock that I'm gonna need. ::

Designing a spacefrmae eh? Are you building a supercar from scratch then? If so you might want to have a look at this thread. It's from a fellow PHer called andygtt. Really good thread, worth a read. He designed his own bespoke chassis so there might be some useful stuff for you in there.

locostbuilders may well be worth joining. Although mainly '7' inspired, loads of very clever people on there. Also a couple of self built threads around.

Audi tt gearbox(dsg hopefully) 1.8t engine. Tt diff bolted straight on the back of the box. Steering rear axle. Lots of ideas, a few parts bought or scrounged so far but enough to start designing I think.
Possibly ground effect underbody. Might keep it simple till its proven.

Any ideas welcome to add into the cauldron.
