Citroen Ax V6rwd
Discussion
to try shift as much weight as possible to the rear wheels, the front of the engine is parallel with the front hubs,
Yes i could of mid mounted the motor behind me but wanted to try something a little differant just to see how this thing is gonna handle. its all just a bit of a experiment really, whatever it'l end up a hoot to drive

Big fan of V6's then? Looks a hell of a project.
to be honest id never ever rated them til i put one in a mates nova few years ago,, Jesus that thing was insane....the C2 was gonna be a 1600 16 valve with a supercharger but got the chance of the 406 running gear to cheap to turn down,
As for the Ax car was gonna be scrapped due to blown motor and my mate was gonna scrap his Omega cause of a clutch fault £150 later this is how it is lol
Wow nice work. Is that the standard rear end on that AX, thought they ran torsion bars? Or is that stuff you've fabricated?
Either way this project looks amazing. Once you've finished pop down the scrappy for some mismatched bumpers and wheel trims and go winding up some 911 drivers!
Edit: Looking again it's clearly stuff you've made!!!

The entire running gear is from a vauxhall omega of all things!!!!!!
basically everything has been fabricated from scratch for the front and rear subframes off the omega to fit into the Ax shell. so as you can tell the width is about 10 inches wider than a standard ax. what im gonna do about bodywork to cover wheels is still uncertain as yet

C2V6 i think i have just the thing for you. We supply a set of universal custom arches that should fit over your wheels.
We've fitted them to Mr2's and they've also been put on a Fiesta with great results.
If you're interested, let me know and i'll get you some photos and a price for them.

Im looking forward to seeing the finished article though!
It wont be getting any fancy expensive bits on this one its purely a fun budget build, the white wheels you see in the pic are the ones staying on, E-bay specials £36 with the tyres lol Bargain!!!!!
naturally i want it lookin nice and tidy and well presented but not throwing a lot of money into it.
