Stunning. Now that you know how to do it, it would be fairly mean spirited not to put more up!

Saw a program about these years ago. If i remember rightly it became hideously expensive and hard to find bits for the owner to do a restoration, so it just sat in a nondescript garage. Think i remembering right anyway.

Absolutely beautiful a very much underrated car, well done that man hope you enjoy it.biggrin

Absolutley stunning car. Not a classic you see very often in the UK.

Thanks all. It took me years to find one. Unfortunately when we stripped the shiny exterior there were many horrors below. She is being fully rebuilt and I hope to have her back on the road in the next 4 months.

I am completely upgrading the car to be used and enjoyed. I know many will not agree and that classics should remain original, however, she is too magnificent to be left in a garage. The following pic is from a couple of months ago and when the new engine was test fitted!

OMG, that is gorgeous.
I always remember as a teenager, regularly seeing a Grifo in my home town of Fareham. It was registered PMS 10. The owner now has a Maserati, still sporting the same number.

Nothing wrong with updating a classic as long as it's improved and the exterior is kept as original as possible.

Lovely car mate. Looking forward to seeing the progress.
