It was ok. it pulled really well but you can't beat the character of a proper mini

the top one was my daily driver for about 2 years and the front end and sills were replaced and patches done to the floor (about £800), the alloys were second hand (£70), tyres were brand new yoko A539's (about £270) and loads of other little bits that i cant remember. i proberly spent a about £1500 on her and i bought her for £400! so she certainly wasn't neglated lol and the doors were off the brown one which i got for spares for £50. i know it looked a state but it was a "running resto" but i had no money to fix it up properly

Well I guess I may as well put some pics of the cars I've had, quite a few I guess since I only passed my test 8 years ago (only... :s)

The only two pics I have of my first car are when I crashed it, a Rover 214SEi. It wasn't half bad actually!

I replaced that with another SEi as I couldn't insure anything with more poke. And yes it was chavtastic...

Then I bought my favourite of the bunch, a 220 Coupe Turbo. It cost me a fortune but I still shed a tear when I see it on my folks driveway (I sold it to my old man)

Went from that to a Galant V6, I really liked the car but parts were crazy expensive for me at the time!

Then I had a 620Ti for a couple of weeks until the clutch went and it got kicked in in the work car park. Cheapest car I've bought and surprisingly good!

Then work bought me a Daewoo, um, it wasn't great tbh but it did OK I guess

Then it was a 216 Coupe my mate had owned, which I gave to my ex, it was great smile A bit slow though...

Then the GSi which I didn't own for very long (well technically I still own it but not for much longer) - it was a cracking car but I couldn't afford to run it. frown

And so after the ex got her new car, I got the 216 back again smile

I'll be changing again around April I think...
