Integra DC5 & STI 7

Beautiful Integra you have there. One of the cars I want to own when finances (and insurance) permit. Great wheels on the impreza too, are they Rota Subzeros by any chance?
Thanks very much! The wheels on the Impreza are Racing Hart CP 035's, forged and really light (around 13lb's each)
They were brand new when the car came into the country...

Both nice cars, how do they compare to drive? Its probably more common for people to make a change like that going the other way instead but I imagine they're quite different driving experiences.
The Impreza was a bit of a jekyll and hyde in character, even more so than the DC5 which to my surprise is very tractable from low rpm's..Edited by GravelBen on Thursday 4th December 23:30
Although the STI had around 320bhp it made approximately 2.8bhp before 4.5k rpm was dialled in making smooth progress in every day driving a bit of a pig.
Once on boost however it was very quick and driven in anger could really cover ground well. Grip was eye popping due to combination of sticky tyres and HKS coilovers, handling was pretty good but overall the car left me quite cold. It seem to do everything well (including draining the tank of V power in 140 miles!)other than put a smile on my face...
The Teg is a totally different animal, does the city stuff very well (the K20 is a great engine even low down the rpm's) and a cross country blast still gets the hairs on my neck to stand up..
The handling/grip available in the DC5 is simply amazing, having driven quite a few performace fwd cars in the past the DC5 certainly is up there with the best of them....
£180 tax p.a and circa 275 miles to a tank make it very reasonably to run too.
Recommend both cars but hands down the Teg wins for me..

Teggy looks very nice, congrats!
I had a DC2 in CW and keeping it clean was an absolute mish, especially as im so anal when it comes to my babies. Vouched never to own a white car again
Would like to own a DC5 one day
STI looked sweet too! I know what you mean about driving a Gp-A rally car in the daily grind; really frustrating! That is until you hit a B-road and get the boost flowing

Re the STI, trying to negotiate rush hour traffic on a roundabout with NO power before 4.5k rpm was interesting to say the least!

Did you have a bigger than standard turbo on the STi? Usually they're making good boost by more like 3-3500rpm, nothing below 4500 sounds odd.
Mine was a jap import and pretty sure it had the standard turbo.Mate has a PPP UK STI (bug eye) too and his came on boost around 3.5krpm but would run out of puff around 7krpm....my one pulled strongly all the way past 8krpm..
I believe there was a few differences on the uk/jdm cars.....on boost my one certainly did have a bit more poke than the uk PPP one car..
