Impreza number 5 for me, bought this last Tuesday and well chuffed. All my other Scoob's have been 'classics' so this is a bit of a change!
2.5 litre turbo has very smooth strong power delivery, plenty torque which is great after the olders models where you had to keep changing gear to keep it on the boil.
Here's she is nice and shiney when I picked her up-

With the state of the road's I have already given up washing it everyday!

Fitted a front splitter and some stainless grille mesh so far, exhaust on order then re-map, suspension, etc etc!!

Colin.

Those pics must be around the borders or Northumberland (judging from the 'NT' plates too)?

The road is the A924 just outside Pitlochry, Perthshire 2 mins from my parents house. I grew up on these roads, had a few moment's on it too! Suicidal sheep are the main problem and tourist's that have never driven on narrow roads!

Money??! have you checked these thing's out in the classified's? They are a bargain just now!
Insurance is about £600 for me, I'm 34, clean licence full no claims. Traded the Cooper S in for this.

Fantastic! Cars look awesome dirty, it shows they're being used properly and not sitting on the drive constantly being polished! Nice car, on great roads, doesn't get much better than that does it?

I wouldnt touch that with a bargepole mate, a bog basic Impreza (non turbo) with stick-on STI bits and it's been written off! If your getting an Impreza dont get anything less than a turbo/WRX/STI, the base model is pant's.

Cheers. Wont be going for one for a bit. Stupid insurance. Btw, whats to look forward to next season knockhill? I love the sports+saloons days, hopefully there will be plenty of interesting moments again and no-one drops out that we all love watching.

Just the usual fare at Knockhill, they have the GT's back which is good.
I'm not sure a certain Lamborghini driver will be joining the sports/saloons next year as I hear he's in a bit of bother.
