Have always looked through the forum here some stunning cars. finally thought I would join, I am even going to be brave enough to post my car.

I appreciate it will certainly not be to everyone's tastes but it puts a smile on my face every time I see it. Its my first car got it when I was 17 (now 19) its a 1.4 I no I no. lol was considering a change but I am in the fortunate position that I am able to drive other cars (A4 2.5TDI, impreza P1, a clio sport 172 oh and a jumbo high top transit.)

well anyway the important bit my car, this is how she looked when I got her

then we got to this stage
wheels rota subzero's 225/35/18
lowered using Koni sports kit

She was then treated to a genuine Type R kit including the rear spoiler I wanted to improve the looks without some ghastly after market kit and to complement the wheels it was sprayed in night-hawk black, since these photo's have been done the car has also had a light tint on the windows which really suits the car in my eyes.

hope at least someone on the forum likes it but more than aware it will not be to everyone's taste

to be honest I expect it the way my car looks is bound to offend the eyes of some people, but as I say I love it was a struggle to try and cap the amount of pictures I uploaded could of easily kept going. by the way your 1 series must be a bit of a rocket ship I have test drove a 330 and that had plenty legs about it so the one series must be a real fun car to drive.

What an improvement a set of rims and a bit of lowering has made thumbup

thanks and yea the last thing I wanted was a 1.4 with a type r badge so that came off the day after the grill was fitted. a badge on the grill may look sporty but the rear drum brakes would certainly suggest otherwise.

Really loving those wheels mate. They really suit the car in my eyes.
As long as you like it, thats fine, its your car for crying out loud! Ignore the flamers.

And welcome.
