Not an 'i' just XR2. XR2i utilised the Mk 3 Fiesta body shape. But your right, it does look rather clean.
I used to have a mint blue Mk 1 XR2, and then a white Mk 2 XR2.

Awesome collection of old Fords you have or had! Love the 'Tinas.

My 1st ever car, bought when i was 15 was a lime green 4 door Mk 3 Cortina.
I bought it for £50 to mess about with.

Once i passed my test, my real 1st car was a 4 door Mk v 2litre GL.
I loved that car. Unfortunately a nasty lady in a Merc killed it. frown

A few years later i bought another Cortina, this time another Mk V but it was a 2L Ghia.

Edit to add: The Mk V Cortina will always be special to me as it was my 1st car bought when i was 17,...them were the days. frown

Good clean one's are seriously starting to appreciate too!
I've always had it in my head to convert a MkV to Cosworth power, whilst trying to keep the car as standard looking as poss. Quite the Q car. smile

Great photo's & top ownership list. thumbup

that 2door mk4 does look really nice, brown leather too by any chance? put a YB in that red mk5 and you'd have a briliant sleeper. lots of great looking cortinas, nice one!
