Hi there,

I'm going through a company car renewla, had a 1998 S VW Golf GTI Turbo, not a bad car, but always wanted that little bit more power. I'm thinking of a Leon Cupra, with jut about every conveivable extra in it... Would u reccomend one? I've had a 5 minute test drive, bearing in mind i got rid of olde golfee a few months ago, and am now in a Vectra SRI (onlt temporarily) i was amazed on how quick i boosted off...

Cupra is HUGE FUN! I love mine - have a look at the reviews at Carsurvey: www.carsurvey.org/review_20387.html
I think you can get them chipped easily enough - same engine as Golf, TT etc. Cupra 'S' is coming out soon too....

Handles okay on smooth roads, but is all over the place when you show it a bump or dip. Needs more development work on the chassis.
