NO TRACTION ...... UPDATE
Discussion
3 months ago I asked for advice re no traction on my galant v6, it took 13000 miles to wear out the constantly spinning Dunlop SP2000 tyres. I replaced them with Goodyear Eagle F1, result-- all the grip you would expect. So I will be keeping the car now! How can Dunlop make such a crap tyre ?
I think the SP2000 is an 'energy' tyre. They got put on an old Puma a ran a while ago (lease car hence no say in the tyres) and fd that up too.
They supposedly give better fuel consumption by not gripping the road as well (or at all) as a proper sport tyre. Fine if you drive a family P.O.S. but not so good if you want to 'make progress'
