White S14a Just Detailed
Discussion
I've never really been one for my cars external appearance much preferring function over form.. but as my latest S14a is a bit, errrr, more presentable, than my old S14, I finally felt guilty about not looking after it "properly" I've been washing/waxing it etc but it still started looking a bit sad and had more than a hint of cream in its white.
So Scott (http://www.obsessivecardetailing.co.uk/) worked his ass off this morning and did a bit of OCD magic and gave my car a real clean, treatment and colour correction (or whatever its called ), including adding some proper protection for the winter. What can I say? Its superb and the pictures dont do it justice He even managed to make my wheels look presentable after years of abuse by evil track pads
The cars spec if anyone is interested:

Very nice amazing shine, particularly considering its white, do like the look of the S14 SX I mpressive spec and performance figures!
Thanks, its all been swapped from my old S14 into this one over the summer... its not running full power again yet as the cams need to be put back in, but hopefully it should run a bit more when its done due to recent head work. dibbly_dobbler said:
Very nice Steve !
Could I be vulgar and ask the rough cost of this exercise ? And probably show my ignorance by asking if they do the inside as well ?
Not sure how much it would generally be in all honesty, we did a swap of a few bits and pieces that Scott needed a little while ago. I've known Scott for years, and stupidly I now realise, this is the first time I've had him work on my car. Have a glance at his website or send him an email and I'm sure he will give you all the information you need He will do interior/exterior......Could I be vulgar and ask the rough cost of this exercise ? And probably show my ignorance by asking if they do the inside as well ?

Thanks Steve... shame about the poor pictures due to it about to rain again!!!
Just for info - You had a basic detail with clay bar, basic polish (not full correction) to remove oxidisation and then a glaze was applied to add oils to the paintwork before it was sealed in with a durable wax that is excellent for protection over winter.
Total time taken: 4hrs
Cheers,
Scott
