Hi,

Been looking about the forum for a while now, thought I would share my pride and joy !!

The Car is a 1998 Series 1 Lotus Elise brought back in 2005, I have lightly modified the car as things have worn out or become apparent they need up dating to keep the car feeling modern, the list isn't that long really but here goes:

Toyo-T1R tyres
Bilstein Series 2 Suspension (110-115 geo set-up)
52mm TB
Hurricane induction kit
Quicksilver Sports exhaust
De-CAT
Hard-top
Alu-Quick rack
Uprated fast road/track clutch
Fan control button in dash (look's stock)
Brighter bulbs as the originals were quite frankly useless !!

Future plans are either a 160bhp cams conversion or a Honda engine smile

Cheers,

Hamish.

To post a picture, copy and paste the link and put [pic] at the beginning and [/pic] at the end.

sounds good! Your photos are set to private on flickr though so we can't see them!

to get them in the thread do this...

{img}address of the image on flickr{/img}

swap the { and } for [ and ] and you're sorted smile

I'm not sure how flikr works, but an easy way is to right click on your photo and clip properties, copy and paste that between the and bits (without the space)

you want the URL of the image, which I think you can find by viewing the full sized version on flickr.

something like...

http://l.yimg.com/g/images/spaceball.jpg

only with your actual image!

yes Nice early S1! I've gone completely off the idea of a Honda conversion (and I have driven more than one....). Too much money by far. Keep it simple and enjoy the K series.

Superb, I'd love one of these. A car thats image, fun and wow factors far outweighs its cost.

Much prefer them to the S2 aswell.

Very smart looking motor. smile

Interesting for me looking at your ride height. My S1 was running 100/110 on albeit pretty shot LSS Koni dampers. Too low for speed bumps and such, particularly when driving two up.

I'm picking mine up today with new suspension; i've opted for a 110/120 setup.

Hi,

Yes it is V.Low ... I find it ok over bumps you just have too go diagonally over some of them though ... I had the geometry done (and do once a year) once fitted and it made the world of difference, best £65 I have ever spent on a care getting it set-up correctly.
