After 2 years of graft, including welding, new wings, new doors and a bucket load of tlc, i have managed to get my Capri to this stage.

Fantastic! I love that car!

The understated colour, the wheels, the front grille, the wing mirrors - just awesome!

Looking very nice indeed but tell me, do you not get any aggro for sporting those pressed ali black plates? The fact that it is a retro motor hides the fact a little but I would have thought that an eagle eyed Plod would have something to say about it yes
P.S. I would like it even more but it don't half make me feel old.

Had a couple of V6 Capri's and they're heaps of fun. wink

Looks superb and the colour suits it very well. cool Not so sure about the MKII Grille, Spotlights and the earlier Chrome Mirrors but I bet it sounds and goes very well with the 24v motor. Hope you've got a LSD. biggrin

Safe driving.

Very cool motor! thumbup

What are the engine specs? Is it a boggo 24V Cologne out of a Scorpio Cosworth or have you 'tweaked' it a little?

What transmission is it running?

I'd love a Capri!

it is indeed the Granada lump, kicking out between 220bhp - 240bhp, its got the Atlas LSD as the car started life as a 2.8i special. But after its previous owners lack of respect, getting it back to factory spec was not an option.

just waiting to hear back from classic ford about a feature.

Old Skool Grill and Mirrors are an acquired taste. Can so many on here be wrong? I'd lose 'em, other than that thumbup

PS. Install Medallion and Furry Dice for full 80's irony.
