So, some of you might remember a thread warning others of the dangers of fire and working on cars, when my (very) limited production South African Group N Superboss (you guys never had these here) went up in flames. 3 years of hard work and pride destroyed in 20 minutes, never mind cash.

Before:

After:

Anyways, so I had moved to London, and after some grieving thought I needed another project.

In came a '94 VR6 for a steal. Had some issues, but none that weren’t going to be changed for what I had planned anyways. Was a bit wobbly when I first got it - suspension was crap, brakes were fubar, and a few niggles here and there. Motor is sound. Tail lights and badgeless grill not my style, I like fairly stock looking cars, but not a priority to change yet.

So, after attacking it with a Bilstein B12 suspension kit, upgraded brakes, new wiper motor, new window mechanism, etc, and giving her a good scrub - she is ready for her outing.

And where is this outing? Well.

Mate of mine arrives Friday, and next week Thursday we depart on our Euro-trip.

London - Amsterdam - Nurburgring - Wangen im Allgäu - Milan - Lucca (we have a place there), and then back via France. All systems go for 3600km!

Sadly, I left a pretty fun collection behind. Perhaps nothing exotic, but all paid for and ready to roll.

Shall rebuild the collection shortly. Life is too short to drive one car, and a guy needs toys.

Something for every mood. The Manta was the missus's project - wanted to slap a nice V8 in there.

Opel Kadett 200GSI 16VS Superboss
Opel Kadett 200ISE
KTM Duke 620 Supermotard
PGO G-Max 250 (laugh, but this was a 150km/h scooter).
Opel Manta (also seems different to yours) fitted with a Chevy 2.5 4pot.
