Hi everyone, have been lurking a while decided to join up and thought it made sense to post here 1st. Had been interested in an alfa for a while but insurance had been at slight issue at my age(19), got some ncb now which made it bearable. Decided on a 145/146 and had been looking for a while when this came up:

Only 2 previous owners and now 23k miles for £1400 which i think is a bit of a bargain, is in mint condition and a credit to its former owners, hopefully will stay like this. wink Anywho im enjoying it, dont see many around, especially driven by my age group which is quite nice, no plans for it except maybe a supersprint/ragazzon exhaust at some point.biggrin Thanks for looking

Maybe it was so cheap due to the obvious electric fault. Get that sorted pronto and you'll have a lovely car there. Is it a Ti?

nice motor there.a good friend has a luvly 145 cloverleaf and has had many trouble free miles but do get the belts checked and he had the variator done too, this seems to show by sounding like a taxi at tickover. happy driving.

Ah, one of the most reliable Alfa's.

Nice car, had a proteo red ti when I was 19/20 - great great car - felt quicker than its figures too.

Has it had its cambelt done yet?

Yep cambelt has been done, variator sounds on its way out though... It's only the 1.6 but goes well for the size (120hp i think). Don't worry I don't drive around with the fogs on. wink

Nice car, good news on the fogs too! Mate of mine had one of these for a while and it rocked, 2 litre twin spark I think...
