I've on order the new Nissan GTR which arrives June 09.
Problem i have is that circumstances have changed and i won't be able to keep it (gutted!). How do you think is the best way to sell it, put up adverts now or when i actually recieve the motor??

Any ideas would be great or if you fancy it please reply.

Surely you can cancel as there must be a waiting list, and its along way away yet! Failing that "sell" you position to someone as alot of "invester" do with exoctic cars.

I'd loose the deposit if i cancelled but selling my place sounds good. Don't suppose you know the best way to go about doing that?

Post it up on Nissansportz or the GTR forum and I think someone may help you out.

would you not be able to make a bit of money on a GTR if you sold it straight away..?

Perhaps you won't lose the deposit, as they know they'll be able to sell it. Well, that certainly happens at my OH's work (Audi).

Um not true. If your dealer tells you you cant have your deposit back they are yanking your chain. I cancelled mine a month or two back and had a cheque in the mail within the week.

WHY ON EARTH did you order such a car if you weren't 100% sure you could keep that kind of financial committment up? confused

Sorry i think you're getting a bit mixed with what i was asking. Just that would it be better to sell when i recieve it or now for maximum profit obviosuly. I doubt selling the car will be any problem at all. I was just asking what would be best.

That dove-tails with my 35th birthday present to myself so I will 'buy it if you like..As long as it fits in my garage...!

Well then the answer is simple. You cant sell it till you recieve it as you will have to be the first owner on the v5 as nissan will not allow you to either sell your build slot or put someone other than the deposit holders details on the v5.

I'm having a party in a couple of weeks and I'd like you to come. We need some 'life and soul'...

But I thought you weren't getting it till next year and that you couldn't sell your build slot?
