The mrs' finally found a replacement after her 106 being written off the other month. Toyed with the idea of a golf, but came out with something much nicer imo...
Black leon cupra R... blueflame exhaust, BMC induction kit, HID's, remapped by performance torque (not been RR'd but guessed to be about 260bhp), grooved discs + red studd pads, optional rear recaro seats, got a set of coilovers to fit also... gave it a quick wash and added some shiny engine covers and wind deflectors, so thought id throw up some pics!

When I was selling Mazda's we took one in PX for an RX8 and the boss let me run around in it for week, and got to say it's one of my favorite cars ever! Just felt the standard 225 bhp was a little slow, that could be because my company car was a Mazda 3 MPS so had 260bhp. The suspension is lovely and having the big Brembo's make it look cool.
My mate who is an avid RWD fan took it for a spin and said he'd drive it as a daily.

Brilliant point to point machine, had my old one chipped to 247bhp by Superchips. They just are not built like a Golf though, the trim went rattly and squeeky after 30K, and they are very easy to break into, they just came and kept opening it up, just to see if i had left anything inside. Despite SEAT's claims that they had resolved the problem....Yea right. Great fun though.

Dude, you need some grass seed. And a lesson in parking by the looks of it...
haha... been one of those "ill slab it soon..." scenarios thats lasted years lolcheers for the comments guys, know what you mean about the splitter, theres a large speedbump at bottom of the road that i have to take practically sideways lol multistory car parks are a nightmare too!
Great choice and some good pictures there.
I used to own one of these in 'platinum' (grey to you and me) and I honestly think that it is the best looking car I've ever owned. The proportions are just right - someone on here once described it as a modern Alfasud and I can see what they mean.
Makes the new Cupra look like a right dogs breakfast.

I did 120,000 miles in my black 210 R. Loved every minute of it. When time came for a new car, within a week I wanted the Leon back.
I had a revo adjustable map and a couple of bits, meant it was good for 280+ when wanted. Most of teh time ran it low boost to get decent mpg.
I tried red stuff pads but found they didn't work at all when cold! and grooved discs were really noisy. On track, that combo will outbrake most things (no kidding here - i had lots of experience!) but you will see the laquer lift off the calipers if you give it that kind of hiding! Pads only lasted one day on track!
Ahh, sorry, i'm rambling. just harking back to the days of Cupra R ownership.
Lucky, lucky man.
Ohh, and reading this thread, can I point something out please... The Recaros were one of only 2 options available on the original (pre 04) LCR - which were Sat nav and recaros. Specify recaros and you got not only the rear, but the fronts too. Unspecced, you got front seat that looked similar, but didn't have recaro embroibered on them and were less supportive. (They were completely diferent but looked similar).
I'm being really anal now. feel free to ask me any stupid questions about LCR's.
