My girlfriend's just pointed out that since we met (9 months ago) I've picked her up in a 3.0 V6 GTV, 525D, 3.0 Z4, E36 325i, 1.8 Freelander, Cayman S, Boxster S, and now this lovely M3...

It's a 54-plate 20,000 mile SMG with red leather... and I bloody love it! Still getting used to the SMG box (yes, that'll be me kangaroo'ing through town!) but it's seriously fast! Picked it up yesterday in torrential rain... which was fun!

I actually bought a near-identical one a few weeks ago from a dealership in Collingham, Nr Wetherby... but that became a Thunderously bad experience... but luckily it's led to this beauty!

Off on a 1,000+ mile tour of Europe with a few others in 5 weeks... can't wait!

Cheers mate!

I was actually looking for another Cayman S, but the price of 997's isn't that much more, so I'm gonna wait a year and see what happens to them. The M3's my runaround till then! Haha!

M3 as a 'runaround', all right for some! Looks stunning, as already said great choice of colour. Do you just get bored of cars quickly then?

To be honest, I hadn't realised how often I'd changed till she pointed it out! Some cars I've had for a fair while... my first GTV was 2 years, second was 1 year, but it all went a bit pear-shaped after the third one 9 months ago.

There's a lot of itches I want to scratch! biggrin

Nice car.

I nearly bought an A4 from the same place a while back but couldn't be doing with the 7'-tall wide-boy and his sales bks. So I walked.

Well put yes

The 'full BMW service history' turned out to be all bar the last one which was supposed to be an 'Inspection 2' carried out by a 'specialist'... but turned out to be an oil/filter/plugs service carried out by home-tune.co.uk

Didn't realise Home Tune still existed. Jeez.
