I love that combo. It looks very well on its Alpina rims. Which is it...?

Lovely. How long have you had it, and what are the servicing costs like? This is the 4.4V8, is that right? Apologies, not too knowledgable on beemers....

Lovely and a real bargain these days if you do your home work on them.

Thanks for the comments. Its a 98 840 Sport ...Yup 4.4....I 've had this one for nearly 3 years and the only costs have been routine servicing by a local non BMW garage. Change the oil every 3000 however because ,well, I just feel better! Great value now and a good one can be picked up for £7-8000.

I used to love these back in the day, they were the 'mecca' of the showrooms

Really good looking car. Even now they look fantastic, and yours appears to be mint.

Very nice. Didn't realise the 8 series was pillarless, looks fantastic. They are temptingly cheap now, do you find servicing and other general running costs to be a bit fairly collosal or is it managable?
