Hello, im new to the site registered a while back but using all the features of the website now. Braught a first car which was a Renault Clio off the pistonheads website 2months ago was in mint condition no marks on the interior, fully standard and then yesterday i was driving on the M1 and when i was breaking the front brakes locked and i went straight in to the back of a pick-up truck.

heres a picture of the car after its hit,

will try and get more pictures of the car up before the accident once i get the off my phone.

Shame you smacked up the Clio... is it going to be an easy/cheap fix?

The body panels are pretty cheap, depends if they can be found in the right colour second hand really. I did a far better job of smashing the front of mine inwink

i hope it wont be to expensive, need to get bonnet, grill, bumper, slam panels behind the bumper and headlight as all the clips on it have broken.
Doesnt matter if the parts i get aren't the same colour my cusion owns a garage he can spray them up for me.
Luckly it only happend at 40mph-ish on the M1 in the roadworks near hemel.

Hi chaps,

Did a simlair shunt to my 02 model Clio.
Will need the same parts as the green one pictured.
I found this site that has new parts really cheap but I figure the parts are not OE.
cPath=1_230_233&osCsid=003b087a5e05c47b7b174c7...

Any thougts on what he quality is like from these kind of outlets?
I'm not overly bothered on a perfect fit and finish as the car is just a 1.4 daily hack.

Heres some other pictures of the car.

Before,

Spent 5hours cleaning the outside and polishing it 2days before the crash.

After,

Took the bumper off and the grill and this is what it looked like under.
